Bio

Coax From Chuckanut formed in 2008 in St Paul, MN. They played lots of shows and even guest starred on a Chicago television show called "Chic A GO GO. They released some albums. 

Ryan(keys/guitar) and Libby Sutherland(drums) are married and live in Northeast Minneapolis. They are often joined by Peter Bordurtha(US POP) and Grant Adams(Good Diction). 

Coax is an indie folk pop duo who play songs inspired by ideas including their son's fascination with Heaven and one day becoming Yoshi. The performances often include stories and connection with their audience. 

You will hear slide whistles and organ from their Casiotone MT-68. You will compare it to They Might Be Giants, Danielson Family, or Ween.
